Race for Education

What is Race for Education?

This is our biggest fund raiser!

First, our students will write letters asking for sponsers. 

On Race Day, students will walk or jog around a 1/4 mile area as many times as possible in a one-hour period. Students will raise funds from their sponsers.Those funds will be used to pay for this year's assemblies, admission and transportation costs for field trips, yearbooks, and classroom equipment and supplies.

Volunteers for this committee help with:

• Pre-race: sorting, classroom letter writing, mailer prep
• Race day: recording laps, assiting at the water table, manning check-in table
• Post-race: filing received donations, pizza party with the Principal for students that submitted at least 20 labels
